Reporting directly to the Trust Manager, the Community Fund Project Officer undertakes the tasks and activities to administer and assist in the delivery of the Community Fund process and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as contact point for enquiries regarding the Community Fund application process
- Accept funding applications and confirm completeness of required information
- Deliver excellent support to internal and external customers
- Manage the administrative side of the review process
- Assist in preparation of Community Fund Trustees meetings
- Review the contribution agreement procedure for funded projects
- Oversee for the tasks involved in project monitoring
- Provision of information on the funding projects presented and/or approved
- Develop and maintain interdependent relationships and liaison regularly with staff, Trustees, applicants, Trust beneficiaries and other stakeholders
- Support the PSCT in successful achievement of its Mandate and Vision
- Research
- Ensure proper documentation details are available for Billing and/or Invoicing with the Finance Assistant
Qualifications:
- University degree or to a level standard with appropriate work experience
- Experience or evidence of organizational skills
- Experience in managing processes and policies
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience working with a diversity of stakeholders
- Experience with training and development with ability to present to groups and individuals
- Understand and support the principles of community development
- Detail oriented with good planning and organizing skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and be able to generate reports
- General knowledge of operating office equipment
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
